Welcome, pardner
The Justice Hack is back with some very important announcements.
In our last newsletter, we shared we were over-the-moon to have Clio come on board as our presenting sponsor for 2019. Today, we also get to add another key partner to our title: KPMG. The firm will be hosting our two-day Vancouver hackathon in their new Ignition Centre. We’re excited to have their support.
30 days and counting down
Hard to believe, but true. The Justice Hack, presented by Clio and hosted by KPMG, kicks off in Vancouver in just under 30 days.
This time on September 21, we will have assembled teams who will be busy tackling business challenges, hacking solutions and creating beautiful access to justice.
This means that it’s time to get involved. If you want to participate in the hackathon, reserve a ticket here. Prices go up after September 12 (but don’t worry, all of your food, snacks, goodies and prizes will be covered by us that weekend).
Share this email with a colleague, your peers, your lawyer, and any technologically savvy hackers in your life (but maybe not the people who try to hack your email). Participants don’t need to be able to code, nor do they need a law degree. They can be marketers, tech enthusiasts, students, business development geniuses. We are looking for individuals who can join us September 21-22 and are keen to develop tech solutions with the power to improve access to justice in British Columbia.
The Justice Hack wants you
If you can’t participate, there are other ways to get involved with The Justice Hack.
We are actively looking for volunteers who can help us throughout the weekend. We would also like tech, legal and justice experts who can offer on-site mentorship to our teams. If you have a speaker suggestion – someone who can speak to this year’s theme of Everyday legal challenges of SMEs and startups – let us know.
In the meantime, follow @TheJusticeHack on Twitter, like us on Facebook, and help us spread the word by sharing this post.
